Two-volume set, reddish brown gilt stamped cloth over boards, Volume I lxvii, 397 pages, Volume II, viii, 439 pages. Corners and spine ends bumped with some wear, boards lightly scuffed, endpapers foxed, bookplate of "Matthew White Viscount Ridley 2nd Baron Wensleydale" on front paste down, bookplate of a different individual on front free endpaper, what appears to be Viscount Ridley's signature on front free endpaper of first volume; rear hinge cracked and pulling away from text block Volume II.
