Description: A wonderful pair of painted cast-iron bookends with an intricate pierced scene of a young man reading a book amidst other books. These 1920s bookends are very much in the manner of a Parrish painting. Manufacture of these is attributed to the H. L. Judd company of Wallingford, CT. 6 1/2" wide, 6" high.
