Description: An uncommon pair of cast-iron bookends of a mournful woman with a gilded finish. The form, style and pose are reminiscent of a Rockwell Kent wood engraving. Manufacturer is attributed to the Littlestown [PA] Hardware and Foundry Company (Littco). 6 inches high.
Condition: There is wear to the finish at the high spots, but in no way distracting. Overall, very good. |
