Size: 4to. Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. All edges gilt in good condition. Gilt stamped and decorated leather spine, dark brown cloth over boards, title blind stamped front and back boards, two-page map of Greene County, 462 pages, illustrated with engraved portraits of prominent individuals as well as engravings of residences of famous people, town histories, list of Union soldiers from Greene County, Genealogies of some of the old Dutch Families of Greene County. Leather is worn, boards scuffed & worn, bumped with wear at corners and spine ends, hinge is reinforced front and back, endpaper stained and foxed, light foxing on pages through about page 20 (rest of text not foxed), a few pages near beginning repaired.
