Description: An expertly handled oil on illustration board of a city landscape signed lower left "H. E. Tausend". There is very little biographical information available, though he lived (1879-1957) and worked in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. Verso is dated December 4, 1920 in pencil.
Condition: 12" x 10" board is chipped at the corners and there is a three-inch crack across the middle of the right edge. An excellent painting that warrants conservation. |
