Description: A fine late 19th century bronze by French sculptor Eugene Laurent (1832-1898). Signed on base: "E. Laurent". This full standing figure of a woman has a skein of yarn at her bare feet and is referred to as "La Fileuse" ("The Spinner"). 10 inches tall.
Condition: Fine with a warm brown patina. |
