Special Limited Edition, first issue in this format. Size: Octavo (standard book size). Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. This book consists of three elements: a bronze bas relief; a full-color "Erte at 95" book which is signed, numbered and bound in black leather; and a presentation box for durability. It also comes with its original illustrated black cloth bag. This specially bound, signed edition is presented with its original bas relief "Pas De Deux". It was created for an edition limited to 412 pieces numbered 1/375-375/375, plus 37 artist's proofs annotated and numbered AP 1/37 through AP 37/37. Each is impressed with a stamp that was made from Erte's signature and approved by Erte. Erte approved the placing of his signature on each piece of this edition. The bas relief is 8" high by 7" wide by 3/16" deep, cast by Joel Meisner & Company, Farmingdale, New York, in 1988. The bas relief is stamped 193/375. Included is a Certificate of Authenticity issued by Hanson Art Galleries and Documentation issued by Chalk & Vermilion Fine Arts Ltd., New York. The book is titled "Erte at Ninety-Five: The Complete New Graphics [The Extended Edition], Including 27 Graphics Created since the First Edition, edited by Marshall Lee with an Introduction by Erte. This is the Second [Extended Edition] Edition published by H. P. Dutton, New York, 1988, 223 pages, 13 3/4" by 10 1/2", includes a Chronology, Bibliography, Index (Alphabetical List of Words with Technical Data), Later Graphics with Index (Alphabetical List of Works with Technical Data). The book is numbered 193/375 and is signed by Erte on the limitation page. The presentation box is 15 1/4" x 12", and the front cover has a cutout to reveal the bas relief.
