Palmer (1817-1904), gained critical acclaim for his bronze and marble sculptures of religious/allegorical subjects and portraits of prominent men & women. He lived much of his active career in Albany, New York, and it is so noted on the printed business card we offer which he boldly signed and dated "E. D. Palmer Mar. 1872".
