Description: A wonderful 7" x 6 3/4 " black-and-white photograph of David "Mickey" Marcus, the U.S. Army colonel who assisted Israel during the 1948 Arab-Israeli War and who became Israel's first General. Verso has the Robert Capa/Magnum stamp. In 1947 Capa co-founded Magnum Photos with, among others, the French photographer Henri Cartier-Bresson.
